  • Aspects of Systems Engineering (V-Model Systems Engineering) to including the creation of engineering work products and deliverables (Trades Studies/Product Comparisons, SOW, BOEs, System Requirements, Design/Subsystem Design, Integration, Test, and Safety. Executed Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs) for multiple programs.
  • Basis of Estimates (BoEs), Work Breakdown Structure, and preliminary project schedules. 
  • Structured program in DOORS; CMMI Level 3 support from SCAMPI Appraiser; Supported DoDAF framework for platform modifications; Link-16 requirements and implementation. 
  •  Systems Engineering for C-130T avionic upgrades and console modification for the U.S. Navy /PMA 207 Program Office—RNP RNAV, Mode S, TCAS, Multifunction Displays, Digital Maps, and Air Traffic Management. Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, and System Safety for platform modifications and Self-Certification strategy.

System Safety Engineering

  • Safety and Mission Assurance for Space Launch System (SLS)—Core Stage, ICPS, and Emulators. 
  • System Safety on subsystems, LRUs, card interfaces, and programmable logic devices (FPGAs, ASICs) for design assurance (MSFC-STD-3663/DO-254) and test verification to prevent erroneous hardware and software operations and functionality. 
  • Hazards, controls, and test verification objectives.  
  • Gap Analysis to determine deficiency in meeting NASA standards and requirements. 
  • Guidance on overall approach for System Safety for modeling SLS elements functions as performed on the rocket day of launch. 
  • SSARs and technical reports for software, hardware, and safety.

Design and Test Verification

Program Verification and Validation represent the plan, processes, and best practices for certification. V&V planning reflects the structure of the program by defining the verification and validation activities performed against system level integration and associated subsystems. V&V planning defines the approach for requirements verification and validation.


  • Design and implementation of cost-effective solutions for CNS/ATM with increase capabilities – aircraft GPS, Electronic Flight Bag, Electronic Flight Instrument (EFI) Model 550, and EIDS Display. 
  • Audit of the subcontractor design manufacturing process for evident of hardware and software safety EFI-550; Structural Coverage/Static Code Analysis, removal of dead code, line item execution accountability; C++, TDCU-VHDL, Xilinx FPGA; DO-178A/B (software), and DO-254 (hardware).
